Knowledge is power in the fight against diabetes. Our program is designed to answer your questions about day-to-day living with diabetes and consists of a series of classes based on ten content areas recommended by the American Diabetes Association. The ten content areas include:

Our Mission

The mission of the Diabetes program of the East Georgia Health Cooperative, Inc. is to provide quality comprehensive diabetes self-management education focusing on day-to-day medical and diabetic management. Education provides an opportunity for those with diabetes to better manage their disease process, thereby minimizing the risk of complications and achieving an optimal health status.
