Roundtable (networking) sessions
The East Georgia Health Cooperative roundtables offer opportunities to network with one’s peers and is one of the key advantages to membership within cooperative.
At the roundtables, peers have an opportunity to:
- Discuss topical issues
- Exchange ideas
- Share best practices
- Implement special projects
- Build relationships with other like professionals
- Negotiate contracts/agreements
- Engage in educational activities
Cost Savings
EGHCoop works closely with its members to identify cost saving opportunities through joint contracting, shared services and centralized services. Currently these savings can be seen through education offerings, hazardous waste management and group purchasing.
Critical Conditions
CRITICAL ConditionsSM is a program, developed by Georgia Healthy Decisions, that can help you and your loved ones talk about your final health care decisions. EGHCoop staff are trained to use real-life scenarios to help people talk about their final health care choices with family members and record their wishes using the Georgia Advance Directive for Health Care. This can be through Family Workshops, or one on one consultations.
Educational Services
Through EGHCoop membership, organizations have access to MCG network services – such as customer service training, assistance with strategic planning, and securing clinical services, to name a few. In addition, EGHCoop has begun developing its own educational offerings beginning with coding education. We are in the process of furthering our offerings and look to expand into CME education for healthcare providers soon. All EGHCoop education is available to the medical community at large. |
